The British Society of Echocardiography is pleased to announce the publication of a new position statement on post-pandemic workflow challenges in echocardiography.
The position statement has been written by the BSE Council to act as a reference and guide to members. We have received feedback from around the UK that workload pressures caused by both pandemic backlog and increased need for testing due to the long term effects of COVID are affecting many departments and centres.
This statement gives our consensus view on how to balance increased efficiency with patient safety and is intended as a guide from which to formulate local solutions to local issues. We hope you find it helpful.
